The Great Transitions

High school is time of great transition for students. It is easy to feel overwhelmed by the pressures of academics, social lives, and finding time for extracurricular activities.

To be ready for high school, it is a good time to evaluate your priorities and the goals you have set for yourself. High school can be a very enjoyable time in your life, but it is also a time when you need to learn more in responsibility for your actions. It can be an exciting time as you transition from being one of the older kids in middle school to being one of the younger ones in high school.

For many of you, the next few years will most likely be the best of your lives — but they may also be the worst. High school, as cliche as it may sound, is a time for self-discovery. You’ll discover a lot about yourself, your true self, and what you want out of life. These quotes will help you stay focused on what is truly important in the coming years.
High school is a place to push yourself and discover your potential. Your teachers are not here to educate you, but to help you learn in the most effective way for you. You’ll take these skills with you when you leave, so use them wisely while you’re here.

The 5-streams pathway

The 5-streams pathway, which includes Science, Commerce, Computing, Art & Humanities, and Music, will give you an advantage in achieving your educational goals and becoming the best that you can be. Elyon Christian School’s programme allows you to graduate and gain admission to your dream university. It is a way for you to discover your passion and begin your journey to the next level of your education and life.

The NEXT step

Life is full of “next steps,” such as new school years, jobs, and life stages. Preparing for these next steps can be difficult and stressful at times. We are sceptical of our abilities. We are concerned about the upcoming challenges. We are afraid of the unknown.
Moses, like many of us, faced a next-step moment as the leader of the Israelites. Moses bore a huge burden when God called him to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and into the Promised Land.
So, before you take the next step in your life, make the necessary preparations. Above all, turn to God and His presence in your life! He adores you and is completely devoted to you. He is your rock in a turbulent sea of change.
